TECHNIQUE

Ingrid is a collection of bouncy seats designed by Bastien Chapelle for Cider. An invitation to relax for a few minutes in shared office spaces… All in roundness, the Ingrid collection answers perfectly to the needs of comfort and reception of the entrance hall and the spaces of conviviality of the tertiary world.

This very graphic seating collection is based on a simple and apparent construction principle and is available in a single-seat and a two-seat “lover” version.

1 – Structure

The visible metal structure is covered with black epoxy paint. The seat is made of high density Bultex foam on a birch wood frame strapped with elastic fabric.

2 – Backrest

The backrest is made of foam covered with fabric or elastic leather.

A strong aesthetic

A metallic veil with a strong geometric pattern encloses these chubby seats, and by proposing to also play with the colours of the upholstered foam cushions, the designer has created armchairs with a strong and distinctive aesthetic bias.
